The sense of community. Since my first day here, we've found ways to keep connected even though we work remotely. I've connected with people I haven't met in person who I value in my work environment. I know there are many people I can turn to for project advice or guidance when I need it.
My client team mentioned that they'd been trained on a collaboration platform called Mural. I didn't know anything about it, but if the client shows interest in something, I take it on as a personal challenge to figure out how it could benefit our team. I learned Mural and came back with three complete murals to make our work easier to read. Our director loved it, and she showcased it to other folks. And now other teams are asking me to help them create murals.
I am in the unique position of being the only Tria employee on my contract. I reach out to Tria folks, especially new hires, to introduce myself and talk about the work I do. Through those introductions, four of us began meeting every month to discuss projects, strategy and life. I try to be a resource to people and make myself available. I also enjoy connecting folks who have similar ideas and could collaborate on future project work.

I am a Disney adult and not ashamed! I couldn't even tell you how many times I went to Disney World and Universal Studios during the four years I lived in Orlando. I still go even though I've moved to New Jersey. Every time I go, I find something new and different than the last time. I also love spending time with my American Eskimo Dog, Leo.
Most people would be surprised to learn that I have been training as a CrossFit athlete for the past two years. I've gained confidence with working out and have never been stronger in my life. I'm working toward my first CrossFit competition.
I'm looking into human-centered design training right now. I also want to study for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and Project Management Professional Certification.
