Tylor Hewette
Office Administrator
Tylor Hewette
Tylor Hewette is Tria’s office administrator, ultimate team player, and heroic solver of problems big and small. Described by coworkers as “the coolest person in the office,” she helps keep Team Tria running at peak efficiency.
What do you like best about working at Tria?

I like that I can use all the skills I obtained through my years working at hotels, a sign company, and a leasing company. I like that everyone is willing to help. I love the view from our Clarendon HQ, and I love the offices. I also really appreciate the work-life balance. I have a 3-year-old; sometimes he gets sick, or babysitters fall through. It's nice to have the flexibility to be remote at times.

What accomplishments during your time at Tria are you most proud of?

I am proud of the work I did in bringing our three legacy companies together into the same physical space in the primary Clarendon and Tysons offices after we created Tria. I furnished the entire eighth floor of our Clarendon headquarters and had all the signage created for both buildings. I closed out unneeded legacy offices and donated the remaining furniture to charity.

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

During the summer months, my husband, son, and I spend a lot of time on the Potomac River. Our home port is Mt. Vernon, Virginia, and from there, we take our powerboat up and down the river. The furthest we've gone is Colonial Beach, Virginia. Our son loves it. During the winter months we like to go camping, dirt-biking, and four-wheeling.

How do you find purpose in your role?

I'm a people person, so I like the face-to-face interaction. I get excited when we have in-person meetings because I get to see people. Coming from a hospitality and customer service background, I like helping people solve their problems. If they don't know how to get a hold of someone, I can put them in touch.
